ARRL Affiliated Clubs · Special Service Club Spotlight

Penn-Del Amateur Radio Club was founded in 1990. It's primary purpose is to organize, operate and provide on-going support and training for a consistent Skywarn program in the state of Delaware in direct affiliation with the National Weather Service Office in Mount Holly, New Jersey. We also participate in Field Day and numerous public service events throughout the year.

We have a repeater located on top of the world's largest twinspan bridge, the "Delaware Memorial" in New Castle, Delaware.

Penn-Del 99 Hamfest [Hal Frantz, KA3TWG]

Our weekly net is held every Thursday at 9pm e.s.t. This net features R.A.I.N (The radio amateur information network) Program. This is an excellent source of amateur radio news and programming of interest brought to us by rain's founder and producer, Hap Holly, KC9RP. We also will be having up to date "Skywarn" information and upcoming training class schedules.
