Special Service Club Spotlight

Genesis Amateur Radio Society

ARRL Affiliated Clubs · Special Service Club Spotlight

We are a diverse group, always ready to help. Our members include the radio officer of the Plymouth Emergency Preparedness office, many members of the office. We also boast members who are active with the NOAA's SKY-WARN program. Fox hunting has become an intricate part of the club too! We support parades, road races and more. We provided communications for the MS walk-a-thon in Plymouth. Many of our members are involved in the handling of everyday messages sent across the county to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, or to cheer someone. We also teach licensing classes. In December, 1996, Genesis sponsored a stage production of Hansel & Gretel for disabled, handicapped, and underprivileged children. We are also involved with the American Scouting agency.

We are like a family, and are proud to be part of this great hobby! A more dedicated group, you will never meet! Please visit our Web site.
