We are a social club not a political club, we have FUN with our hobby, and enjoy each others company!
CARS Serves Northern Nevada with Yaesu System Fusion repeaters that are linked into the NEAVDA wires X room 21676
CARS also supports Lyon County and Dougls County Nevada with ARES Communications systems for use during distaters and emergenmcies.While the CARS Club is not ARES afffiliated, several members are and we keep the activities of each completely seperate from one another.
We welcome the merging of the Carson Valley Radio Club into the CARS family - W7DEM This club call is used at the Nevada Department of Emergency Management Communications facility in Carsson City Nevada.
