It is our goal advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the Longhorn Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Longhorn Council ARA will support Jamboree on the Air (JOTA), Radio Merit Badge Classes, Volunteer Examiner services and (longterm) seek to establish Amateur Radio Stations in Longhorn Council properties.

It is our belief that if the Radio Operators in the Longhorn Council communicate their efforts with each other, there are many opportunities for mutual support, elmering, and communication of our efforts at a wider scale.

We "lost" our previous meeting place and have been working on an ad-hoc basis.
