The Raytown Amateur Radio Club, also referred to by our Call Sign, K0GQ is headquartered in the City of Raytown, Missouri, a suburb of about 30,000 inhabitants, located on the east side of Kansas City, Missouri, and is considered to be part of the Metropolitan Kansas City area.

The Raytown Amateur Radio Club, Inc. (as it is officially known,) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) corporation recognized by the Internal Revenue Service and organized under the laws of the State of Missouri.  It is governed by its Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Member at Large.  The Raytown Amateur Radio Club is affiliated with the American Radio Relay League, (ARRL,) the National Organization for Amateur Radio, and the Mo-Kan Regional Council of Amateur Radio Organizations.

Our mission is:
1. To enhance the enjoyment and understanding of Amateur Radio.
2. To provide support to the City of Raytown or other groups in the form of communications, instructions, or technical assistance
3. To provide emergency communications at times of national or local disaster, for the Emergency Management Department or Police Department of the City of Raytown, Missouri.
