Department of Michigan, Sherman-Moore Post #297 Amateur Radio club. The group is part of The American Legion Amateur Radio Club (TALARC) group. We provide auxiliary communications to the post, viliage and township of Ravenna.
We participate in Skywarn, are a Weather Ready Nation (WRN) Ambassador, trained in CERT, and do ham radio licensing classes once a year. Classes are postponed right now due to COVID-19.
We enjoy many areas of amateur radio. We also enjoy promoting family and patriotism as part of the founding piliars of the American Legion family.
