The Wireless Society of Southern Maine one of Maine's most active ham radio clubs, participating in on-air activities such as Summits on the Air (SOTA), ARRL Field Day, International Lighthouse & Lightship Weekend (ILLW), Winter Field Day, and more! The WSSM hosts the annual Maine QSO Party and Maine 2 Meter FM Simplex Challenge contests, and is involved in public service, supporting the National Weather Service SKYWARN program as well as the Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency.
