Subject: [VE-LIST:119] July 1, 2004 - General Exams Update

Dear VE:

As you are aware, on July 1, 2004, our Element 3 General exams change. The new General pool questions, released last December, must be used for all General tests beginning 12:01 am this coming July 1st.

For ARRL VE teams who are Formally Field stocked, five new General class test design booklets will be coming to you during the last week in June. Also a replacement test booklet - to replace Technician test design 2-4-2004 - will be included, as this test design has a question impacted by recent FCC Rule changes.

For those VE teams using ARRL ExamWin software, the new software update is now available at http://www.arrl.org/arrlvec/examwin/
