Subject: [VE-LIST:120] New General tests take effect today - July 1, 2004

Dear VE:

As previously announced, today marks the beginning of implementation for the new, Element 3, General exam question pool.

For ARRL VEs, new General class exam pre-printed Test Booklets (yellow in color) are enroute to Field Stocked ARRL VE teams (see the article at http://www.arrl.org/news/stories/2004/06/30/2/?nc=1), and for non stocked teams supplies will accompany your test registrations (if you included a materials request) or can be assembled using ARRL ExamWin software (available for download from http://www.arrl.org/arrlvec/examwin).

If ARRL VEs have any questions, call us at 800-927-7583.

73 and have a Safe, Healthy and Happy July 4th Holiday weekend!
