Lots of traffic in the ARRL booth, including three generations of hams who stopped by to chat. The proud patriarch is Bill Price, N3LWM, accompanied by his son Tim and daughter Cami. Cami earned her Technician ticket just a few weeks ago.

Only at Hamvention! If you have a 2-meter halo antenna, why not put it on a helmet!
These unusual rigs were on display from the Marconi company. Apparently they are kits! See http://marconi-japan.com/default.aspx.
The weather was perfect as the doors opened at 9AM this morning. You couldn't ask for better.
It should come as a surprise to absolutely no one that the crowds are enormous. I was able to get away from the booth about an hour into the fray. So many toys, so little time!
ICOM has a new transceiver--the IC-7200. Kenwood didn't have a new radio, but did announce some firmware upgrades for existing rigs.
