Good Contest, Keep Them Coming
LAST CONTEST FOR W7RY FROM EASTERN WASHINGTON.
Would like to see a "Clean Sweep" award similar to SS for working all states and provinces.
For a change everything seemed to work just fine I did have a problem with the software moving bands whenever it wanted but that was it. Not much 80 meter activity that I could fine but 40 was super. Thanks to all who participated.
FT 1000/PK 900 A3S up 45 ft 160-10 Dipole up 45 ft Fun contest as always
Only worked the contest for a few hours, but it was good to see high activity levels on RTTY and PSK31.
THIS WAS MY FIRST CONTEST TO ENTER, AND MY FIRST TIME TO USE WRITELOG. I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL OF THE FOLKS WHO HAVE MADE IT POSSIBLE FOR ME TO TRY A NEW PHASE OF THE HOBBY. IT WAS A CHALLENGE; IT WAS FUN. BILL COOPER WA5ZAF
SPENT MOST OF LAST HOUR IN PILE UP FOR SOUTH KOREAN STATION - NO JOY! 10 METERS BEING OPEN SURE ADDS FUN TO THIS CONTEST AND A HEATER IS NOT NEEDED IF THE BANDS ARE OPEN. GREAT CONTEST EVEN IF NORTHEN EUROPE, RUSSIA AND SOUTH AMERICA WERE SELDOM HEARD IN SAN DIEGO. KEEP YOUR EARS OPEN YOU'LL HEAR ME IN THERE AGAIN NEXT YEAR. THANKS.
A lot of fun, but not enough time to operate!
10 and 15 meters were hot. Would have earned my "All-Band Worked AA5AU" award, but missed him on 80 meters!
