    Comments:

This was my best January VHF contest yet. AMAZING local turnout saved the day. Antennas were horizontal loops on 50/144/222 and verticle whips on 432/903/1296. FM only on 1296 and 10Ghz. I am pleased with the success of this minimal station!

    Some highlights include:

    - -23C Sunday morning ! BRRR!!!! Coax was FROZEN solid!

    - Working VE3XK, VE3CVG and VA3CDD/R on seven bands

    - Making first Light (Laser) Contest QSO with VE3AAQ!!

    - Working K2AXX in FN12 on 144 while mobile in FN25!

    - Dinner with VE3CVG and his XYL

    - Hearing V01???/VE3 ask VE3??? if he has "any other grids? any other grids?" ;-)

Thanks to all the locals, especially VA3CDD/R for the great contacts!
