For state QSO party enthusiasts, there are several opportunities to participate during the next couple of weekends.

 

This weekend, the begins at 0300 UTC on October 11 and concludes at 2100 UTC on October 13; the begins at 1500 UTC on October 12 and concludes at 0500 UTC on October 13; the begins at 1600 UTC on October 12 and concludes at 2200 UTC on October 13; and the begins at 1800 UTC on October 12 and concludes at 1800 UTC on October 13.

 

Next weekend, the begins at 1400 UTC on October 19, and concludes at 0200 UTC on October 20; the begins at 1700 UTC on October 20 and concludes at 0100 UTC on October 21.

Bud Trench, AA3B, to Continue as WPX CW and SSB Director

 

The World-Wide Radio Operators Foundation (WWROF) is pleased to announce that Bud Trench, AA3B, has decided to continue as the WPX CW and SSB Contest

Director for the next several years. “After some personal reflection, I realized how much I enjoyed administering the WPX SSB and CW Contests,” Trench noted, adding that his goals are to continue the growth of participation in the WPX SSB and CW contests.
