THE ALS 1306 MET ITS 1200 W PEP SPECIFICATION ON ALL BANDS EXCEPT 6 METERS, THOUGH THERE IS SOME POWER SAG UNDER KEY DOWN CONDITIONS. AS WE WENT TO PRESS, AMERITRON INDICATED THAT THEY ARE REVISING THE INPUT ATTENUATOR BOARD TO SWITCH OUT THE ATTENUATOR ON 6 METERS. THIS WILL ALLOW THE AMPLIFIER TO MAKE 1200 W OUTPUT ON THAT BAND WITH 60 TO 70 W OF DRIVE. NOTE THE LOW DRIVE NECESSARY TO GET TO THE US LIMIT OF 200 W OUTPUT ON 30 METERS.
