      INTRODUCTION

        Below is errata information regarding the DAS system described in
        //QST//, December, 1995, pages 25-31.


      QST ARTICLE
      ------------------------------------
        No problems have been identified with the data as published in
        QST.


      AUDIO LEVEL
      ------------------------------------
        The audio level recommended in the Circuit Description of the QST
        article (800 mVpp, 300mVrms) is well within the range of the DTMF
        decode IC and provides a good compromise in most situations.
        However, if it's likely that radio used to drive DAS will be
        subject to large upward changes of the volume control, you might
        consider setting the the audio at TPAV to be no more than 2.0
        volts peak-to-peak (700 mVrms) when the radio's volume control is
        set to the most likely maximum position.
