The three files in this subdirectory are DIGIVFO versions configured
to make the DigiVFO work over the 5.5- to 6.0-MHz range required by
the Kenwood TS-130, -530 and -830 transceivers.

The first, KDIGI.A86, is the uncompiled source code, which, if you
run it through the A86 shareware compiler included with this software
suite (in the subdirectory A86), produces the code contained in the
second file, KDIGIL1.COM. KDIGIL1.COM is a compiled, renamed and
ready-to-run version of KDIGI.A86 configured to talk to the DigiVFO
via your computer's LPT1 port. The third file, KDIGIL2.COM, is
a compiled, renamed and ready-to-run version of KDIGI.A86 configured
to talk to the DigiVFO via your computer's LPT2 port.

Changing which port the compiled KDIGI.A86 will talk through, search
for the string ioport in the .A86 file, "comment in" the ioport line
that corresponds to the printer port you want--delete the semicolon
at its beginning--and "comment out"--put a semicolon at the beginning
of--the ioport line that corresponds to the printer port you don't
want. Then run the modified KDIG.A86 through the A86 compiler. The
resulting .COM file will be ready to run.
