Subject:	Errata for PicoKeyer article (12/03)

Hi,
I just found out the code I sent to post on the web site apparently has a feature or two not documented in the article. The most obvious is that there are TWO memories with 60 characters each, not one. When in the M menu, the dot paddle records and plays back Message 1, the dash paddle records and plays back Message 2.
There are also a couple of special prosigns that can be used when recording messages. "1M" (dot followed by six dashes) will insert an extra word space. "NNN" (dahdidahdidahdit) can be used at the end of Message 1 and will chain the two message memories-it will immediately cause Message 2 to be sent.
In normal operation, Message 1 is sent by tapping the button. Message 2 is sent by tapping the dash paddle while pressing the button. You need to press the button, tap the dash paddle, and release the button quickly; the whole sequence needs to be done in half a second or so - it's easier than it sounds once you get the hang of it.
It may be easier to just include this information in a README.TXT file in the ZIP download so people know. If you don't know abotu the second memory and use the dash paddle to record a message, you have just recorded Message 2 - and it won't play when you tap the button!
