Please send me all reports of an amateur becoming a Silent Key so they can be honored here and in QST. E-mail me at w3ml@arrl.org

    ARRL Appointee Reporting

We are having more and more appointees not reporting in to the person who directs their positions. It is a requirement that all appointees report in every month. This is explained in the job description that you agreed to when you sign on. Even if, for some reason, you could not perform the duties of your position, drop an e-mail to the Staff Member who you report to telling them that you were not able to do the job this month. At least that tells us you are still around and hopefully will be back at it the next month.

    Indiana Repeater Council

The Indiana Repeater Council will have a meeting at the Ft. Wayne Hamfest on Saturday, November 14, 1009 at 12:15.

Charlie reports, "We will be talking about what to do about paper repeaters and the possible use of the splinter frequencies on 2 meters. There are several 20 kHz spaced frequencies, and it is sometimes possible to place another system in between 2 systems. What kind of spacing should we use?"

    Foxhunting State-wide?

We now have IN_Foxhunt on Yahoo Groups. This is the place for those amateur radio operators and others involved in locating transmitters by use of directional antennas, Doppler or whatever it is you use. You can join this group just like all the other Yahoo Groups by simply visiting the group and signing up.
