What is a Challenge Coin?
While there are many stories about the origin and history of challenge coins (wikipedia.org/wiki/Challenge_coin), these medals have been popular with organizations and leagues for decades. Challenge coins are commonly issued among the military and civil service organizations, including police, fire and EMS officials. These mementos are often used to commemorate a special occasion or to show loyalty among individuals that share pride and affinity for a particular service or agency.
