Cheap Looking "Official Copy" of renewed license

I just renewed my license online with the FCC and all I got is an e-mail with a black & white PDF file attached with an "Official Copy" of my renewed license. I called them and asked them where is the original to frame and hang on the wall of my shack which I had been doing for all these years. I'm 81. They told me that's all they have and all I would get. How does ARRL let the government get away with getting that cheap? I am disgusted. I certainly won't bother to frame and display a copy of which by government type reasoning and IQ no original exists. Sincerely KF4DSJ |
