Well I've got a new GE Dishwasher that doesn't like 6 meters. It locks up and requires a factory rep to reboot it's computer. I've installed Ferrite on the power lead and am waiting for the 3rd tech rep visit for testing and another reset.... This brings up my question... does anyone in our hobby catalogue home appliance problems as it relates to amateur radio for both RFI inbound and outbound to a device. I'm sure I have an argument ahead of me to resolve with GE if the ferrite installed on the power lead does not resolve the problem... ?? de Dave - K1BZ |
