| It really depends on the net. For example, our local Net does it by last letter of the callsign in 3 groups, A-I;J-R andS-Z. Some do it by first letter of Callsign. Contact the ham that is doing Net Control, or contact the Nets manager for how that net does it, and WELCOME! this hobby/service will give your a lifetime of enjoyment and learning. |

| Are you sure your radio has the correct program for NYC? I would have someone check your code plug. DMR should connect all over the world if programmed correctly. DMR is growing and there are lots of good talk groups you should hear. there are 7 DMR repeaters you should hear. good luck! |
