Welcome to the ARA! We are thrilled to have you join our organization and 

become a part of our mission to provide quality ham radio repeaters and  service to the areas we cover, we support all local ARES/RACES groups in our coverage area, during Hurricane Helene our 146.895 was used for the coverage and support of the community's in NC/VA it was one of the very few repeaters that was still on the air in that event. 80% of the repeaters owners in the network has been or is a member emeragency services, LE,EMS,FD. We use that knowlage and apply it to the installation of the repeaters.   As members of the ARA, you will have access to a network of repeaters that will enhance your ham radio experience and help you make connections with other ham radio operators in the region. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to participate in ARA events and activities, and to contribute to  the growth and development of our organization.  Yearly Membership Dues are $20. We offer a discounted family membership  fee of $10 for each additional member in the same household. This goes directly towards supporting the maintenance and operation of our repeaters.
