OARC is a general interest club inviting anyone interested in the amateur radio. We provide information to the newcomer as well as the seasoned operator.
We support the local EMA and Red Cross and provide Skywarn weather information for the tri-state area. Also, provide communications for the local Christmas parade held in November each year.
Our club has a weekly net that meets on Thursday evening on the 145.33 (tone 103.5) repeater at 9 pm local time.
Club participates in annual Field Day and Winter FD. Gives VE exams 5 times per year or on demand. Provides entry level Tech classes and General upon demand.
Supports Winlink digital network and APRS Network.
