What kind of a toriodal core should I use make a 1:1 balun for 75 ohm coaxial cable to 75 ohm impedence ant. 2 element 3 band quad. I am running 100w input now but want to make a balun that would withstand at least 250 watts.

You did not state the bands that you are using, but I assume that you are using 10, 15 and 20 meters. The simple way would be to just wind some of the coax into a coil near the antenna, maybe 5 turns or so, but I do not think that is the answer that you are looking for. That would also add to your wind loading. You should be able to find a balun to fill your needs in the ARRL Handbook. I would build it for 1KW, even thou you are only running 250 watts.
