I want to mount a multiband HF antenna to my bumper for use when stationary. I am doing a 4 foot 2x2 into a bumper bracket then 6 to 10 foot of that electrical channel steel (can't think of the name of it) THEN I will do a mirror mount with antenna attached to that. How should I ground all this? Strap to bumper or under trailer to chassis? Should I mount antenna over a plate of metal? Ultimately it will feed a TS520s inside the trailer. The antenna will be collapsed for travel and then lifted once we stop. Thanks in advance!
