Hello, I'm wanting to paint my copper J-pole antenna. The paint I have says one of the ingredients is Titanium Chloride. Googling it seems to show it as a liquid but I'm a little afraid to use it because the word titanium is there. Do you know if this would jeopardize the efficiency of a J-pole antenna?

Titanium dioixide has a high dielectric constant and a low dissipation factor. The low dissipation means low loss. While a high dielectric constant can result in detuning, a thin layer in a carrier such as paint should reduce the effect.

I'd like to know how much the resonance shifted by painting the antenna.
