| I'm about a year late:) but... I tried operating a FTDX3000 from a 20A Astron. As Zack suggests, it wasn't big enough. On certain band-mode combinations it would drive the supply into current limiting, dropping the voltage enough to shut the radio off. I ended up buying the RS-35A, which is working nicely. |
