| I have discovered that the dual MFJ Hamsticks with their "coupling" device is really a VERTICAL antenna and it MUST be oriented vertically with the Driven element pointed towards the sky and the passive element has its whip at least 4 feet above the ground for the 40 meter Hamsticks. I tried having them horizontal and I got terrible SWR and lousy performance. When I oriented them vertically, I did wonderfully. Good luck. | ||
