Most interesting QSO:  KI7VEM, Ken who just got his General license in Mar of 2018 after a 50 year gap.  Great to see him back on the air and using a K2 at 5w with a FB signal here in Reno NV.  He is also an active SOTA operator! 

I was not using a vintage rig this year which has been my custom due to problems with my T60, AT-1 and Johnson Viking Adventurer rigs this year.  I instead used my main station a Flex 6500 into an SPE Expert 1.5K FA amp at 1 KW into a Mosley Classic 33 tribander at 60' on 20m or a dipole at 50' on 40m. I hope to have classic station up and running next year.  Until then keep the rust of your fists and enjoy my friends!
