With 109 QSOs, my goal of at least one hundred contacts was met. I've done better but am always quite pleased how my quarter wave whip performs poked the window of my 5th floor apartment. Used FSK which allowed my rig to use the Twin Peak Filter and that helped a lot.

I did notice what seemed to me like a lack of DX stations which makes me wonder if they gravitated to FT8. Though I have the 2.0 version of WSJT-X, I chose stick to pure RTTY. Will be interested to see the final results.

I really think FT8 should have its own contest weekend. That would let the FT8 crowd give it a rest and dabble with pure RTTY. I would certainly participate in an FT8 test.Though both fruit, they are apples and oranges.

Bottom line, I enjoyed the RTTY Roundup immensely.
