Been working for several weeks to get my station back up and running for the January contest.  I still have more work to do before the summer, but I was able to get 5 bands on the air high power and a low power FM station on 900 Mhz.  Many thanks to the Rovers, this always adds to my score as many folks are running digital modes which I haven’t set up.  223 FM was fairly active here in the Chicago Milwaukee area, so that was good for some contacts. A signification snow event here in northern Illinois Saturday prevented me to crank up my tower and activity was pretty low.  Sunday was much better, but I didn’t have as much time needed to put up a bigger score.  No band openings or enhancements heard when I was operating.  Great time to make some new friends locally as well.
