After some early thundershowers, we had a sunny and clear Field Day the rest of the weekend. W1OCA was again located at the Hartford Sumner Elementary School in Sumner Maine. Operators included KA1SG Norm, W2GPJ George (also our resident chef for the weekend. Thanks George!), N1GZB Brad, AC1GX Lindsey, N1WJO Bob, N1YIS Wayne. Allyson Hill our EMA Director stopped by for a visit as well.

Norm KA1SG found that the Lewiston Sun Journal news reporter and photographer were very interested in his pnuematic antenna launcher (AKA spud gun).

Although it was a small turnout, those of us that participated learned something new. So after reflections are finished, we will plan for next year Field Day 2020. A huge thanks goes to George W2GPJ and Norm KA1SG for all the work and organizing to make this year a success.
