KØODF was a call sign I hadn't heard since my high school days in Nebraka. Lynn, KØODF from Chadron, NE, told me about his days as a Train Dispatcher, and he knew a Train Agent and other folks from my home town of O'neill, NE. 
I instantly recalled Lynn's voice from the 70's, when he called into the NE Phone Nets on 75M, when I was a budding NCS. This surprise SKN QSO was full of nostalgia from my earliest years on the air.
