My two grandsons, Luke Harrison and Levi Ennis, participated in the Kid's day event on June 19 of this year (2021).  They talked on my two meter radio which is a Kenwood TR-751A.  They talked to a Don Rowe, KU4RB, and Roy Jackson, KW4G, on the frequency of 144.045.  They spoke with these two gentlemen using this radio telling their names, ages, favorite colors, and their location which was our home here in Sebring, FL.  They enjoyed talking to someone who was a "long way" from home.  Hopefully, they will be future ham radio operators.
