Almost 60 years later, Iused an Ameco AC-1 for SKN this year.  My mother bought me the my original AC-1 kit when I was 13, setting me up for electronics and radio for a lifetime. Running about 6 watts output, I worked several stations including long time pal, K1WPO.   A great experience.  HNY Bob
