I operated FD using category 1C. This year from Mesquite, NV, on Saturday UTC. Sunday UTC operated from St. George, UT. Band condx were worst I've experienced since my first FD in 2008. Neither 15M nor 10M worked for me; only 40M and 20M with Hamstick verticals on the car's roof with heavy mag mount. I also note that CW participants seem to be much less because I only needed to use a wide CW filter in lieu of a really tight one in previous FD years. The 102 degree temps didn't help me, either. 73 Cliff
