11/05/2002 | N2CU This was my first attempt at operating SS QRP. After years of doing it HP, I needed a break. Nice, low pressure operating. QRP is really fun. I think everyone should try it. There were lots of great QRP signals out there and I even managed to get a few compliments myself.

Many thanks to all the great ops who copied my exchange on the first try; very few repeats. Thanks to J. for listening for QRP at half past the hour. Got him on the first call!

Now for next year, I'll alter my game plan a little and try to get that elusive NL section. -- N2CU
