11/06/2002 | KB0VVT Hi, my name is Rebecca Rich, KB0VVT, and I am 14 years old. I earned my license in 1996, and have participated in the last couple of SS contests. I particularly enjoy the CW contests. Last year my dad, KG0US, and I made about 700 contacts in the SS CW contest. This year we went into the contest with my dad wanting to make at least 1000 contacts. I wanted to set a goal of 1500 contacts! My dad, KG0US, and I were able to make 1,036 QSO's, along with all 80 multipliers (OUR SECOND CW SWEEP IN TWO YEARS!:)!). We got a sweep both years running low power in the MULTI category.
