11/12/2002 | K6DF The only time I had to work the Sweepstakes was Sunday, so I put on my best contest attire and went to work! Didn't make a lot of QSO's, but had a wonderful time.

As usual, the CW Sweepstakes was fun to work and I think there were more stations on this year. It was a good workout for my new Kenwood TS-2000.

The only problem was . . . cleaning up the shack after the contest is over . . . pick up all the old burned out 807's, fix the shelf that broke while I was getting the key out, use the leaf blower to move all the scratch paper out of the way. While bringing me coffee, my XYL Pam, slipped on the oil I spilled on the floor while oiling up the key, . . . her ankle is doing much better now, . . . anyone know how to get a coffee stain off a wall?

Great fun, . . . keep putting these on . . . I'm looking forward to next year already . . . Pam's not!
