2002 ARRL November Sweepstakes (Phone)

What an absolute hoot. Was really fun this year. I attained two goals I set. Sweep and 500 qso's. I know I cant compete with quack quack and RI so I kept my goals attainable hi hi. I hit 90,000 points so my goal next year is 100,000 points. Nice to find VE2AWR calling CQ at 21.203 and getting him before a pileup hit. Found Maritimes tuning about also, giving me the sweep. Funny, calling CQ later I worked 3 more Maritimes hi hi.
My Nits for the contest is Sunday being asked constantly for my section, why not work the person and find out. I just kept calling CQ without answering them.
Even worst was 2 stations (WHOM I will not name here) Called me with very strong signals, I repeated their calls and they QSL'ed and after I gave my exchange never came back. Guess they didnt need WWA. But at least complete the exchange. This contest is and is supposed to be FUN.
Every Year I say Im going to give a concerted effort and fall short but at least this year I operated more hours than before HI HI.
