I had a lot of fun with the SS Phone contest. My husband KA5KLU and I
worked the contest as a multi category. We didn't get a clean sweep but had fun trying. We didn't get to work as many hours as we would have liked to had to stop for church on Sunday. My husband said we might have made a clean sweep if we had worked the whole contest we made contact with most of the hard ones like: MAR, SD, ND, NNY, NL and NWT. The ones we missed were 5's right in our own backyard. Only managed to work MS, just didn't hear much on 80 meters. We recommend the contest to anyone that hasn't tried it and why not try doing it as a family. Next time we plan on getting our son KC5QIG to work it with us. See you next SS.
