11/20/2002 | KA6T Really enjoyed taking part in the SS from the new QTH here in Oregon. Being on the side of a hill facing east seems to make it easier for most folks to hear me, which is great. It was frustrating though to call a bunch of WWA stations and never get a response, when I can actually SEE Western Washington out the window of the shack! Also missed Idaho. For next year I will have to put up some kind of antenna to radiate on 40 or 80 meters.
