11/20/2002 | K1MKF I was at the Meriden ARC from the start on Saturday until 0300 local. I was on 75m phone for the last 3 hours (as W1NRG) and had a great time. On Sunday I operated from home on and off (as K1MKF) over 6 hours. Sweepstakes is still one of my favorite contests. The operators were all polite and professional even when a newly licensed 12 year old HAM took to the W1NRG mic for the very first time.
