12/29/2002 | KE0BZ We operated from the shack of KE0BZ in Lincoln, NE, this year. The old war-horse NCL2000 from the NU0C shack sure made getting contacts easier, although RF getting into the keyboard made logging interesting at times! I think Wayne wants an amp now.

A good time was had by all, despite a visit from Murphy that caused flames to shoot from the L4b power connector and necessitated a last-minute trip home to get the other amp. We operated all hunt & pounce, and visitor John from my Boy Scout troop got some hands-on experience with ham radio and is really excited about getting his ticket. Possibly a new SS op from Nebraska next year? Who knows...
