We love this contest. This year we (KB4QLZ / KB4FWN) invited a couple of new hams from the area to stop by and work some stations. KG4RTA Perry Phillips, and KG4RZT Herbert Boehm, both of Millers Creek, NC, stopped in Saturday and helped out. Both ops got the chance to work the rigs, as well as work the PC's for logging. As usual Bradley Scronce KB4FWN did most of the radio work, and I, KB4QLZ did most of the logging and spotting. Our equipment consisted of a Kenwood TS-870S, Ameritron AL-1500, and a Force 12 C19XR at 125 Ft. We worked 49 states (missed Maine) and 82 countries, along with 9 Canadian Sections. We had a blast.
