2002 ARRL 10 Meter Contest
Very good DX conditions during the daylight phase. During my 2 active days I had only about 4 hours time to go on the air. Some QRL kept
me busy most of the possible daylight zone. Short after the sunset
the signals goes down closed to the ground noise and followed by the
dead line. By the way, I am collecting real QSL cards and I will send out step by step a card for every contact. Please do me a favor and confirm this contest QSO by QSL bureau or directly please see www.qrz.com -> DJ1AA address. QSL Info for AB0DL is via DJ1AA, thanks. The uploaded pictures shows my 24m antenna tower behind my house in Kreiensen - City, about 40 miles south of Hanover City in north Germany (Locator JO41XU). The antenna construction is a fritzel FB-DX-660 6 element yagi with rotary dipol for 40m included. The yagi is 21m up from the ground and I am very happy with this kind of beam. On 10m there are 4 elements active. During the last CQ-WW contest 2002 I got big problems with orkan winds up to 85 miles and I had some weeks an interesting short wave E-M-E antenna..hi. I had a lot to do and a hard job to bring up the antenna and the tower back in service for the contests during the winter time.
Last but not least I wish you marry xmas and a happy happy new year 2003. Hope to meet you coming up contest year.
