12/20/2002 | K6PFA/3 Since I had only a short time to operate on Sunday afternoon, I thought it would be interesting to put the HTX-10 in the car and drive over to Washington, D.C. to provide a DC multiplier. With my 25 W and a magnet-mount antenna I made 34 contacts in my one hour on the air. I appreciated the kind words from a number of contacts for whom I was the first DC of the contest. It was fun, I'm looking forward to future contests. -- K6PFA
