12/20/2002 | VE4MM After about 10 years with my radios in boxes, I managed to set up a station for the Fall 2002 contest season. Set up a new TH3MK4 tribander on my roof which was in my basement for 7 years.

Hoping to meet my 2500 QSO's in 1991 (SSB Low Power), I fell short and only managed to fight for 1355 QSO's and 118 Mults.. Saturday 1100, Sunday 255. Sunday was brutal.( I had a 5 element monobander in 1991 and the Band was better)

Highlight: Working Ken Miller ,K6IR whom I met at Dayton in 1991 or 92 cause the day before, I found his QSL card in an old Dayton Program and was wondering if he was still alive. Now I know.

I also worked N3FJP and when I entered his call, I said, "Hey I am using your program for the Contest".

Lots of VE4's this year, so no one should complain about the lack of us guys anymore! Where were Yukon and NWT???? Come on you guys...
