01/07/2003 | P40K The operation took place from the P49V super station. Kay, K6KO did the SSB and Ken, K6TA the CW. This was a Single Op, Single Radio, One Chair operation. We had planned to have Internet packet spots but the local ISP decided to shutdown for the weekend.

Our goal had been 3000 QSOs and 2 Megs. In the end we had 3350 QSOs and 2.3 Meg with 29 hours of band openings.

Before the contest we attended the Aruba Radio Club Christmas dinner at a local restaurant. It was a wonderful evening of great food and conversation. See photo below. -- K6TA
